Up and at ’em! The plan today was to leave at 7am and to expect about 12 hours on the road. Driving time was approximately 9 hours or so and we expected to make several stops along the way. All in all it was a pretty easy drive. I-70E out of Indianapolis, through Ohio and into Wheeling WV, into Pennsylvania just south of Pittsburg. I-79S into Maryland to I-68 and I-70 into the DC area.

We got an AirBnB on the north side of DC in Berwyn Heights MD. Cute little house perfect for us at a very reasonable price.

We actually got to the house about an hour earlier than we planned for which was nice. We got the tour of the house from the owner and some tips on traveling into and out of DC which I think are going to prove to be valuable.

After settling in, we visited a local mall to eat dinner at a Luca-Pizza-ish kind of place called Three Brothers Pizza and get some groceries for the week. We were kinda beat from the drive so we headed back to the house to settle in for the night.
