Many who know me know that I served in the US Navy for six years back in the mid to late 1990’s. For four of those years, I served on two fast attack submarines out of Pearl Harbor, Hawai’i. It was one of those most beautiful places to live and work for those four years. Since that time, I have always thought how nice it would be to return. With our oldest son Zach soon finishing college and eventually starting a family of his own, we saw this as a last chance to take a vacation together as a family. So, in December of 2022 we went back to Hawai’i to visit the islands of Oahu and The Big Island.
